Exodus 34, a practical application

v.8 So Moses made haste and bowed his head toward the Earth, and worshiped.

v.9. Then he said, ” If now I have found grace in Your sight, oh Lord, let my Lord, I pray, go among us, even though we are a stiff necked people, and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us as your inheritance.”.

I love that Moses says “we” are a stiff necked people. He includes himself. I am also a stiff necked person and ask for God’s forgiveness for my iniquities and sins. Please take me, our families, our friends, and our churches as Your inheritance!! All the world’s people, God, have mercy on all who are stiff necked. It is Your will that none should perish. (II Peter 3:9)

Holy Spirit, please convict the hearts and consciences of all those who are deceived. Break through the deception!

Lord, let us be people who raise our voices to You and ask that You remember all your people that we might change history by our prayers and petitions to You! That we turn from our wicked ways so that You will heal all of our lands. (II Chronicles 7:14)

In the mighty name of Jesus, amen!
